Spring migration, one of nature's greatest annual journeys, is underway as billions of migratory birds leave their wintering grounds and head north toward seasonal food sources and favorite nesting spots (Lowe, 2021).

About the event
Join me for a casual and informative walk at one of South Middleton Township’s beautiful parks. Each walk will highlight a different park within the township. All walks will start at 9 am on the third Saturday of each month. For those new to these walks, no experience is necessary. All walks are stroller, disability, child, and inclusive friendly events. They are casual walks for people of all ages, experiences, abilities, and interests. The focus will be on birds, but many other topics usually come up as we walk. Each walk is about an hour, but you can stay as long or as short as you like. Bring a friend, and binoculars if you have them, and wear proper clothing for the weather as we will walk in the rain, snow, or sunshine.
