Great Backyard Bird Count – Join us each February when the world comes together to watch, learn about, count, and celebrate birds.

Discover the birds already living in your own backyard and learn how your observations can support real conservation science. This Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) Info Session introduces participants to the basics of winter bird identification, simple spotting techniques, and how to confidently submit sightings through eBird and the GBBC platform.

The program is designed for all ages and experience levels — no binoculars or prior knowledge required. We’ll slow down, look a little closer, and explore how everyday birdwatching contributes to long‑term population tracking, habitat planning, and global research efforts.
