Event Details:
Lemoyne Spring Migration Bird Walk Guided by Andy Dapkins
Join Lemoyne Bird Town and Lemoyne Borough for a guided spring bird walk celebrating one of the most exciting times of year for birding—peak migration season. This free event is open to all and offers a great opportunity to connect with nature. As migratory birds travel north, our area becomes a temporary haven for a wide variety of species, offering a unique chance to observe them up close.
Led by Andy Dapkins of “The Bird Guy” tours, this relaxed and engaging walk will explore the Washington Heights section of Lemoyne through three connected green spaces: Negley Park, Schell Park, and Frazer Park. Together, these parks form a scenic 1-mile loop featuring diverse habitats that attract migrating songbirds such as warblers, vireos, orioles, and tanagers, along with raptors like eagles and familiar year-round residents such as woodpeckers and finches.
